It will be finished in time!

I posted a piece about chain piecing ages ago.. Here is the quilt top finished and spray basted to the batting. I'm using a 100% wool Witney blanket. Nothing compares for cosines, weight and Eco credentials. I don't really want to encourage anyone else to buy these blankets to be honest, but there you go, I've shared my secret with you!

They aren't as washable as modern poly fill or cotton wadding, but usually they have been washed a million times by the time I get them, and I love a heavy quilt that seems to hug you!

There are lots of my favourite fabrics in here, and I used my best quality blanket from my stash, so I hope she loves it :)
